- A native Detroiter, Dr. Thompson grew up in the Detroit area graduated from the University of Michigan.
- He received his Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine at the Franklin University of Medicine and Science, Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago.
- Dr. Thompson completed his residency at Aventura Hospital and Medical Center in Aventura, Florida, where he was the chief podiatric surgical resident. He is also a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association and the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.
- For Dr. Thompson, the most rewarding part of his job is making a difference in people’s lives by bringing world-class foot care into the comfort of people’s homes. He enjoys the ability to see patients in a clinical and home setting and is inspired by the diverse range of conditions he’s able to treat.
- While Dr. Thompson specializes in foot and ankle surgery and trauma and wound care, he is committed to doing whatever is necessary to provide relief for his patients.
- When he’s not in the office or our courtesy van visiting patients at home, Dr. Thompson enjoys spending time with his newborn son, Ethan, playing golf and basketball, and cheering on Detroit’s sports teams.
